The initial meeting of the club was held on the 26th of October 1984.
The first green building started 31st March 1989 by Mr Denis Mahoney.
On the 06/04/89 the foundations of the clubhouse started, and the liquor license was approved on 19th October 1989.
The Clubhouse was officially opened by the RQBA President on 3rd February 1990.
The club in its short existence has been very successful with inter club competitions and penants this year having 6 teams in a divisional finals.
The club is currently run by 9 directors a manager, two permanent staff and several volunteers along with casual bar staff. The catering is run by contract staff.
